Penguin ClashHow to play
Your team defends the Moon Beacon at the bottom; theirs is at the top. Penguins attack whatever is in reach by themselves (ranged ones stop to throw), so you choose where to stand and when to fire your penguin's power. Standing in your nest, behind your beacon, heals you. Fish near the centre heal and shorten your power's wait. In the last minute the moon rises and beacons take double damage. Destroy the enemy beacon, or have the healthier one when the 3 minutes run out.
How do traits matter?
A penguin's outfit is its role (tank, scout, mage, support…) and its hat is its power. Its eyewear, eyes and beak add a small passive, and teammates who share a sky get a team bonus. Traits make penguins play differently, never stronger: bots played tens of thousands of matches to tune every trait to win about half the time.
Who do I play against online?
Other players who queue for the same mode at the same time, spread across both teams. If nobody turns up within 20 seconds (1v1), 30 (3v3) or 45 (5v5), bots take the empty seats; they are marked 🤖. If you lose your connection, a bot flies your penguin until you are back.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Tap "Play with friends", pick 1v1, 3v3 or 5v5 and send your room's link. Everyone who opens it joins your room with one of today's flock. The match starts when the room is full, or when anyone in it presses Start with at least 2 people in, and bots fill the empty seats.
Can I play with a keyboard and mouse?
Yes. Click or tap to walk or to focus an enemy, and right-click to walk without focusing. Space fires your power, E focuses the nearest enemy, C cycles through enemies, F focuses the enemy beacon, B walks back to your nest, S stops and G walks to the fish. M turns the sound off and ? shows every key during a match.
Which penguins can I play?
Online and in rooms you play today's flock: ten penguins, one of every role, the same for everyone and new every day. Practice against bots lets you pick any of the 10,000.
