Penguin Clash is free to play. Each month, part of Lunar Flock's sales income goes back to the players: a prize pool for the best online players, and 5% for anyone who brings in a sale. The 10% of every sale that goes to penguin charities is separate and never reduced.
Monthly prize pool
- The pool: 10% of the creator's share (90%) of the month's sales income, from penguin adoptions and gear, plus anything rolled over from earlier months.
- Free to enter, no purchase necessary. Anyone can play with today's free flock, and owning a penguin gives no advantage: every trait is tuned to win about half the time.
- Who can win: players signed in with a wallet that has at least 5 transactions on Base, who play at least 20 online matches in the month against other signed-in players (not from the same network).
- Ranking: 3 points for each win and 1 for each loss in those matches. At most 3 matches a day against the same opponent count.
- Paid places: a quarter of the players who qualify, at least 10 (all of them, if fewer qualify) and at most 50.
- Small months: a pool under 0.05 ETH rolls over to the next month.
- Payment: in ETH on Base, to the wallet you play with, by the 7th of the next month. The list and the payment transaction are published below.

When fewer than 50 places are paid, the same shares are scaled up so the whole pool is paid out.
Referrals: 5% of the sales you bring
- Your link: in Penguin Clash, sign in with your wallet and open "Invite friends".
- What you earn: 5% of the price of every penguin adoption and every gear purchase made on lunarflock.com through your link. Your code stays with the visitor for 30 days and travels inside their purchase, so it can be checked on Base.
- Not counted: your own purchases, adoptions that are refunded, and friends of friends (one level only).
- Payment: monthly, in ETH, together with the prize pool.
Fair play and the small print
What gets a player disqualified?
One person, one wallet. Playing on several accounts, arranging results with other players, bots or any automation, and exploiting bugs forfeit rewards. We review the top of the list before paying, and our decisions are final.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. Playing and competing are free, and no purchase is needed to win. Penguins and gear are cosmetic collectibles; they give no edge in the game and no share of Lunar Flock's income.
Taxes and where rewards are allowed
Rewards are void where prohibited. You are responsible for any taxes on what you receive.
Can the rules change?
Yes, for future months only, and the change is announced here before the month starts.

The first month is October 2026, Penguin Month. Its payout will be listed here by 7 November, with the transaction.
